What exactly does a day at Budureasca Winery entail?

• Tour of the winery: exterior and interior tour of the winery with access to the tank room and the barrel room; store presentation; excursion into the vineyard (depending on the weather conditions); presentation of the winemaking process
• Tasting of 3 types of wines: tasting that will be accompanied by individual platters of cheeses and snacks, water, juice, coffee
• Blending workshop: teams of at least 2 participants will receive graduated cylinders of different sizes and 3 wines each to make their own blend. The blends created will then be tested by an oenologist. The team that gets the highest score will be declared the winner. All participants will have the opportunity to bottle and label their wine created and named according to their own preference.
• Picking competition: takes place in teams and involves going to the vineyard and picking against a timer, for 20 minutes, using the tools provided. The picked grapes will be analyzed by Budureasca specialists, from a quantitative and qualitative point of view. The participants will also learn how to analyze the remaining sugar, and at the end the winning team will be awarded.
