Blending workshop. Create your own wine!
Oenology is the science that deals with winemaking and the study of the products derived from the vine and wine, and an oenologist is the specialist in this field. Be an oenologist for a day and create your own wine according to your taste! And because a wine is better when you have company, bring at least 3 more friends with you to a blending workshop!
Creativity and passion for wine are the main assets needed, and the good will is guaranteed by the team from Crama Budureasca. The wines obtained and bottled manually by each of you will be proof of skill and a reflection of everyone's tastes. Let's see who knows better!
Because this is what befits a day spent in the winery, the participants will start with a complete tour of the winery, they will continue with a tasting of 3 types of wines, which will be accompanied by individual platters of cheeses and snacks, water, juice, coffee . Then the big confrontation will begin - the blending workshop!
The winery tour includes:
- external and internal tour of the winery with access to the tank room and the barrel room
- store presentation
- excursion into the vineyard (depending on the weather conditions)
- presentation of the winemaking process
And now let the blending workshop begin!
Teams consisting of at least 2 participants will receive graduated cylinders of different sizes and 3 wines each to make their own blend. The created blends will then be tested by an oenologist. The team with the highest score will be declared the winner. All participants will have the opportunity to bottle, then label their created and named wine according to their own preference.

***optionally, customers can have lunch at the winery (for a fee) or enjoy a picnic (there is a terrace set up for this purpose) for which they can bring their own food.
