Start an off-road weekend!
An off-road weekend is equally a suitable gift for your lover, an adventure in which you don't want to leave him alone, but also for several friends eager for new experiences in the midst of nature so generous in this area.
Moreover, the recipient of the gift himself can choose where he wants to stay for a night and when - before or after the off-road experience. There are two different options:
- "Comfort" accommodation at the Amada guesthouse: Located in a wonderful setting near the forest and the river, your friends will enjoy a select atmosphere, relishing the inviting taste of traditional dishes, all in everyday comfort. Pensiunea Amada has a restaurant, bar, common lounge and a garden with a sun terrace, being located in Lerești. Guests benefit from free WiFi internet access and private parking.
- "Wild" accommodation at the Prieteniai cottage: Reconnecting to life offline, the oasis of peace, the perfect place for nature lovers. Here we replace the light bulb with candles, and the toilet and shower are similar to what our grandparents used when they were young. Breakfast is included, the host providing the products, and the cabin tenants will only have to prepare them on the hot stove in the cabin.
Detailed content for the off-road weekend:
- Off Road Adventure - Departure time 09:30-10:00 - arrival time 16:00-16:30. The car used is a Suzuki Jimny and if there are more than 6 participants, a Suzuki Samurai and/or a Suzuki Grand Vitara is added. The cars are equipped with off road (not an extreme one), raised from the ground 5-10cm, Simex wheels for the mountain, winch, etc. In a car enters the pilot, the two adult participants and possibly a child, if necessary. The route offers landscapes worth seeing: the Pojorâta Peaks, the River Coast and the extensions of Lalu Mountain; on the northern background of the commune, the mountains Păpușa (2391 meters) and Iezerul Mare (2463 meters) are projected; and Plaiul Oilor (here in the spring the sheep go up to the mountain, to graze, and also here, in the autumn they come down), Poiana Fântânii, Poiana Fetii are just a few points that will be visited in the off road adventure.
- Dream landscapes at the Strâmtu barn - The ascent is made on a forest road that starts at an altitude of 650 meters in the Voinești area and goes up to 1377 meters at the Strâmtu barn where there is a special stop for photo sessions. The slightly winding stone road leads to a first panoramic point from where you can see the village of Lerești, the city of Câmpulung and its surroundings. From here begins an easy climb through the forest that opens up to the next stop "La Băncuță". The trestle continues through the meadow and through the forest clumps to the alpine gap.
- Experience the life of the shepherds with a traditional lunch at the Clăbucet barn (with BIO dishes specially prepared to satisfy the most demanding appetites) - Arriving at the Clăbucet barn, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, the participants take care of themselves by bringing wood for the fire, then they will prepare the polenta and the most tasty shepherd's bulz on embers, slana on a stick or traditional sausages. The snack served on a wooden bottom with steaming polenta on the side preserves something of the wild note of the forest and the tradition of the shepherds.
- Walk to the Râușor dam - located on the Târglui River, at a distance of 7.5 km from the village of Lerești. Participants have the opportunity to take pictures, enjoy the view and even drink the "best" water in the world according to some locals.
- Visit to the Cemetery of Heroes - the largest Cemetery of Military Heroes. Followed by a tour through history and a visit to the Heroes' Monument.
- Relaxation in nature
- Adrenaline and a lot of good cheer - The return road is one with steeper descents for the last doses of adrenaline before reaching the paved road in Lerești commune. There is also the possibility to get to know the wild animals specific to the place: deer, coot, wild boar, fox, rabbit, bear, etc.
- One night of "Comfort" or "Wild" accommodation with breakfast included
