After a dinner enriched with local ingredients and an overnight stay at one of the local guesthouses, the adventure begins the next day with an off-road tour to Nascalat Peak (1,566 m). If the weather cooperates with us, we can start early to admire the first rays of the sun from the top. From here we continue the route through dense forests and extensive clearings to the edge of the Cheile Bicazului - Hasmas National Park, where we can extend the tour with an easy 2-3 hour hike to the rocky peak of Ecem (1,707 m).

Then we leave for the mountain village of Trei Fantanele where, for a fee, we can enjoy a delicious lunch at a local pastravaria. The route through Valea Bicajelului will surely charm you with the special landscape made up of surrounding mountains, pure streams and famous huts.

Once you arrive at Cheile Bicazului, you can test your skills and fear of heights on one of the via ferrata routes. Equip yourself properly, follow the guide's instructions, conquer your fear of heights and enjoy the superb scenery of the Red Lake, the surrounding mountains and the upper Bicaz Gorges. Previous experience is not necessary for this vertical adventure. The route is secure, and with the professional equipment and the guide, this adventure is also a suitable experience for families with children.

Overwhelmed by the adrenaline and the special landscape of the Bicazului Gorges, we return to Lunca de Sus through mountain paths and narrow forest roads, with optional stops at a mountain lodge or hut. At the end of the day, we also stop at the bobsleigh track in Lunca de Sus for a last adrenaline sensation before dinner offered by the welcoming hosts from the guesthouse. At the end of the day, you can relax and relive the memorable experiences of the day in the guesthouse's sauna.
