The experience is also suitable for beginners, and the minimum age is 7 years.

The routes proposed for Via Ferrata in Cluj represent a fun activity with a low degree of danger. The activity consists of hiking with rock climbing at Stâncă and traveling the mountain trail from Cheile Turzii or Vadul Crisului.

Traveling the mountain route will be done by using natural or artificial outlets such as steel cables, scoops, metal ladders, etc. Along the entire length of the route there is a cable stuck in the rock that will ensure the safety of the participants. No previous knowledge or experience is required. Groups will be accompanied by one or two guides, depending on the size of the group.

Via Ferrata in Cluj - about the equipment

Participants will be equipped to comply with all safety measures. The equipment consists of special climbing harnesses, climbing helmets, Via Ferrata poles with shock absorbers and gloves. All the equipment is provided by us, the participants only need mountain boots, a small rucksack, water and protein bar or chocolate.

And because it is a shame not to be left with a video that I can review as many times as I want, the activity will be filmed head-to-tail with GOPRO cameras, and at the end each participant will receive the recordings.

Variants for Via Ferrata in Cluj:

You have two options from which you can choose this experience:

• Cheile Turzii - The route takes place in Petreștii de Jos, Cluj County, in Cheile Turzii. The length of the gorge is 1650 meters, with high and steep walls of maximum 250 m. We will climb up to altitudes of 795 meters.


• Vadul Crișului - The first route will be the Fairy Wall, an easy route to warm up. The second route is Casa Zmeului, a medium route with beautiful scenery and a 20 m suspension bridge. The duration of the route is approximately 5 hours.
