Via Ferrata in Apuseni Vadu Crisului: Send your friends to meet the mountain!
The via ferrata route from Vadu Crisului can be found in a steep rock of about 100m, which is called the Fairy Wall. The route is arranged with metal cables for insurance and with metal screeds to be able to climb easily.
The entrance to the via ferrata route is through a very narrow and steep valley. It starts with climbing an inclined plane, which quickly turns into a vertical passage. The route continues with a vertical climb. Slowly, slowly, the participants reach above the forest, from where they can admire the Crisul and the railway. After a crossing on the side, you enter the edge of the valley. Soon you reach a small regrouping platform, where the participants can rest or drink water. From here the route leaves the steep valley and enters the wall, vertically.
The panorama on Via Ferrata Vadu Crisului is spectacular
After a vertical climb of about 10 m, you reach a threshold where you can make the second regrouping. Another vertical section puts the climbers' skills to the test. After this area follows the most difficult passage of the entire route. It is a slightly overhanging passage, for the passage of which brute force is needed so that the participants can pull themselves together. A 10 m vertical climb precedes the upper part of the via ferrata route, in the final area. From here, the view is extraordinary.
