All about Soala fishing for raptors
Fishing for predatory fish (spinning) differs a lot from stationary fishing in terms of equipment and techniques, but especially in the attitude that the fisherman must adopt. If in stationary, the fisherman tries by all kinds of methods and hopes to attract the catches to the place where he is fishing, in spinning, the sports fisherman becomes a "hunter", always looking for the feeding places of the raptors and the natural structures where these fish hide their prey, moving along the banks or crossing large stretches of water by boat.
Spinning therefore requires movement, physical effort and continuous concentration, a certain cadence of casting and retrieving in order to "explore" as many fishing spots as possible. In order to choose the appropriate techniques and equipment, the fisherman must have knowledge regarding the distribution of species in the territory and their behavior in a certain period of the year. Raptor fishing can be practiced on all types of water, on all river courses, (upper, middle, lower) mountain lakes, dams or ponds, the Danube or the Danube Delta.
The success of a game does not necessarily depend on the number or quality of lures "presented" to the fish, but also on the ability of the fisherman to adapt the bait to the situation encountered in the respective environment. Another important component is the "presentation" technique of the lure, which must take into account several factors: the species of predators targeted, the current and the depth of the water.
The raptor fishing school thus quickly turns into a highly appreciated gift by enthusiasts, those who want to penetrate the secrets of this activity or improve their fishing techniques. In addition, they will be surrounded by people who share the same passion with whom they will be able to discuss intensively based on this topic.
